NY sucks... The reality is... If you are not a doctor/lawyer or have a kick ass career( not even that) of some sort or been with a company 20+ years you are/will be a nobody. Why you think smarter/orlder people are running away from New York ? Or you become a pimp in the stock market..
Yes, New York is Fun for "younger" People .. becuase , yes, the parties, the bitches, the clothe, the cars.. all the shit rappers and younger people think about is all 5 ft away while in nyc.
The cost of living in NY is one of the worst in the US.. NY also has one of the worst income to debt in the US....

I lived in NYC, My Parents owned bodegas at one point in NJ and NY and still had to run.....
The reason you have access to alot of things in NYC you may not have access to in other states is, NYC is the capital of the world basically, everyone who comes in this country from another one, always ends up in NYC and have to start hustling and finding out ideas on what to sale and blah blah...
Yes, GA is more laid back and has nothing to compare to NYC as far as parties and shit..
But, The reality is... I can earn a better living here in GA then I would EVER in NYC, the honest way.....
Shit, I have cars in GA.. hahah In NYC, I would probably own a bus pass.. hahaha
But you are young... Yup, You are going to love nyc.. the fast/flashy life...
