I Could use some creative people on this one!

My idea was to wait until we get to the city closet to the mountains "she loves them" hike to the top and propose there. . . but i keep getting the Corny vibe from this idea! so what should/could i do?
Go up to the top of a mountain and put a note up there before you take her up and have the note say something to the effect of:

FROM THE DESK OF GURU

I AM OUT RIGHT NOW ATTENDING A MENSA MEETING, BUT IT IS IN YOUR BEST INTEREST TO ACCEPT ANY PROPOSALS THAT MAY COME YOUR WAY

Then take her up there and act like you just saw the note. That's some dumbass shit right there. Later, QD.
