Pardoning someone that put someone else's life in danger because one dumbfuck politician didn't like another is pure bullshit and should be punished on top of the lying and covering up. But Bush decides that since it's a buddy of a buddy, he can just step in and throw it all away. The answer to that question is apparently NO. it's a safe bet to assume that the identification of Plame was not a crime, either because she was not a covert CIA agent at the time the identification was made, or because the person making the identification was not aware of her status....the evidence shows to be that she was not covert at the time she was identified. No crime, end of story.

Libby knows something. Libby lies about it. Gets caught. Gets sentenced. Bush decides his "buddy" does not deserve to have to go to prison for a crime. Bush writes off the prison. And we all know he wont have to pay the fine and it will never legally follow him around. You really think Bush isnt going to just pardon him of all of it?
