You are missing the point. How many of the people on those planes and in those towers had body armor and were carrying weapons to protect themselves? What? None? Interesting concept, huh?Originally Posted by shagwAg3n
You can not argue military facts with a war veteran. You can ask any soldier, ANY SOLDIER; if they would rather the terrorists shoot at them or their families and 100% of them would say themselves. Don't be ignorant just because you have not been in their position.

war veteran? come on man, i respect the fact that you've served, but quit making yourself sound like chuck norris in delta force.
and the bolded part? sorry but the only thing i could think of when i read that was "ask any racer, any real racer..."![]()

The fact that I served in the military and in Iraq has no bearing on the debate EXCEPT that most, if not all of my fellow soldiers said they would rather be there being shot at and almost getting killed by IEDs than have terrorists attack civilians. That is the whole point.
Do all the soldiers want to be in Iraq? No. Would all of them rather be in Iraq than have their families attack back at home because they went to the grocery store? Yes.
