I think he meant the bit about "not being born here".

I think people who are anti-American become that way, because I know for damn sure they wouldn't come here if they were. I think they feel that they might as well stick around and see what they can change so they can once again enjoy this great (or to them, once great) country.

Seriously...I think the U.S. is an AMAZING country...but there have just been too many mistakes in policy.
