To the people that say we are wasting service members lives, WE volunteered to serve our country, we KNEW the risks when we signed up. It isn't that difficult to get out of the military if you don't agree with the current political leaderships policies. I know many other service members that are opposed to our current presidents policies. They did however take oaths to follow the orders of those appointed over them, that includes the president.

I personally don't like seeing the flag burned and marred in any way, I disagree with it wholeheartedly, but in the words of Voltaire, "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it". I'd love to punch the dude in the face, because I don't agree with his actions, but I'd just as soon take a bullet for him or any one of you if the person firing it was an enemy of our nation.

Actually, 9/11 was six years ago. The longest enlistment you can sign up for is 6 years if I am not mistaken. Even if that isn't the case, everyone raises their right hand knowing that they can be sent over seas on the President's whim. Period.
