I agree with Val 100%. I am muslim and I have had to face discrimination before and after 9/11 and it does seem like discrimination and racism seems to be okay as long as its against Arabs & Muslims. I love my religion and I am religious. I don't find it okay to make any remarks or jokes about ANY RELIGION because thats what I've been taught and thats how I've been raised. I have never been racist, prejudice or made any jokes towards any religion ever in my life and Islam teaches to love everyone for who they are and peace. Just because there are extremists doesnt mean all Muslims are that way and the fact that everyone thinks that because 1% of the worlds Muslims are psycho that all muslims are.. therefore its ok to keep condoning discriminaton against the Muslim and Arab world degrades me and the majority of population in the world.
So, when it comes down to putting the most important book to me in a sig and making fun of it pisses me off beyond belief and I dont want to see that shit if im reading posts, regardless... I wouldn't want to see it anywhere. I feel the same about Jesus, the Bible, the Torah, Baha'ullah, etc. Religion crosses the line completely.
