There's a reason I think everyone should have X amount of time on a motorcycle and i'd rather see it before they ever step foot in a car...but apparently i'm crazy like that, especially since I think in order to get your drivers license you should take a series of classes, i.e. X amount of time on a skid pad, completely ability to use mirrors, etc. before you can get your license...but that's just me.

Of course none of that will probably help against someone pissed off over a spouse, oh well.
i want to learn, and get something like a ninja 500R to start on...but parents said gotta move out,if i want a bike..

My parentals wouldn't let me have one either or even a dirt bike and we had over 100 acres plus the miles and miles of nearby forest service roads and trails! I always had to resort to riding friends bikes then 3 months after I moved out bought a Triumph Daytona 955i...lets just say they weren't exactly the most thrilled about it.

I honestly think it would be alot safer with parents supporting it, similiar to guns...you should be taught how to properly handle them -- way too many accidents are from people that just don't have a clue or even the respect. If you have to do something behind your parents back or without their support then more than likely there will be no training involved nor the extra money for proper gear...
