Was that you driving? I was like hey that looks like that one shop from Atlanta. Crazy! My boy works at Mitsu so we were with the crew running the EVO.

You too! It was strange seeing a bunch of Atlanta folks. If you are ever racing in this area again be sure to drop me a PM or something. For what it's worth I thought you'd make the top 16.

Thanks dude! I thought there was a 50/50 chance that I would move on...but hey, that's drifting Top 32 was a big deal for me...especially against all of those seasoned LA drivers. Driving better is the only recourse I plan on getting my entry speeds up a little more and then I should be money. IMO (and from what the judges tell me) that's my only issue. So that's my plan for the next event....drag race the start

I dunno there were a couple times where your driving looked a little sloppy, that might be because you were going to slow through some of the corners though. My friend was convinced you'd get destroyed trying to tandem drift. I was looking forward to seeing how you were going to do myself. Regardless I thought you did well and I'm sure you'll be real impressive in the future. Although not as impressive as my man Joon of course. haha

Yea Joon didn't make top 16 either. Sux....or did he?

I actually feel comfortable tandem drifting. I think it's because I can follow the other person's line. I have trouble with my entry speeds because I find it hard to pick my initiation point. In Colorado my entry speeds were on par with everyone else; 63 mph and the average was 63-65 and the highest was 71, I think. Either way, like I said, driving better is the only recourse. I'm not upset. I have been drifting for 1 1/2 years. Practice makes perfect and deriving with the big boys will only make me better

No he didn't. Mitsu hasn't signed the car over to the team yet so he was pretty much was scared of wrecking it. Plus it was only the second time he'd driven it and it was RHD. I think he's gonna do pretty well.

Cool, well next time you are here stop pussy footing around and make sure you qualify so I can watch your supposed tandem skillz.
