I delivered chinese food for a little bit and I realized that I lived off of tips. So I started tipping well. Although, if the order is 11 dollars, and all I have is a 20 and they're late and they don't have change. They will be going back to get change.
Regardless, I tip though. If it's late as hell, I'll still give him two dollars because I know it's really not his fault.
