your parents are always going to treat you as someone that they have to guide and teach. aslong as you live this will never change. the difference will be as you become older and more mature you will start to understand why they behave this way.... for now your best option would be to simply respect their decisions. if they say or do something you dont agree with simply let them know in a respectfull way...
If you are so sure that you can move out than why dont you? serious question... I moved out when I was very young and my relationship with my parents was wonderful afterwards... your parents will always be there for you no matter what even if they say differently.. they will always be there. If you have the chance and the resources to get your own place with out their support than do so. Only reason I would'nt reccomend to move out is if your still in school.. physically prove to them that you can handle it on your own.. either way G/L on your decisions....

Even when i was paying for car, insurance, cell phone and gas/spending money i still did what they said because their house, their rules. Dont like it, get your own place. unless you have a good job and not going to school have fun making it on your own with no car if life is already so rough now for you

i kinda know where you are comming from, though i really dont know your whole situation. when i was 18 my parents did everything for me and gave me everything, no teenager in thier right mind would turn THAT down, but it also meant they had complete control over what i had and what i diddnt have....everything you do in life comes with a price....you live with your parents, to them you are still thier baby girl, and its hard for parents to let go. they hated my boyfriend, and now that i look back (i'm 21 now) they were right about him, he was a LOSER with no direction in life (i dont know your boyfriend, but just be carefull, parents only want the best for you, no boyfriend you ever bring home will be good enough in thier eyes).
i moved out at 19, and did it in a nice way, explaining that i wanted to see what i could do with my life with my own 2 hands, they were reluctant, but i was persistent, and now they repect me more as an individual, not just thier only daughter. as long as they are giving you everything, they still feel the need to protect you, and until you do something FOR yourself, they will never know you as being able to TAKE CARE OF yourself and your desisions... i know life is comfortable, but you have to pick which is more important to you, and maturity plays a big role in all of this, maybe you arent ready to handle everything all by yourself, and if thats the case, sit down with them and try to compromise....
