Because I was so easily swayed by my love for coke and weed, he talked me into doing it once. I knew that night that I either had to do something or cut hiim loose for good. I couldn't let my best friend go down that road, especially not with that stuff. I talked to him and he said the same old thing, I don't have a problem, I don't use it that much. Bullshit. He had scabs on his arms and face from scratching the "ice bugs", he lost quite a bit of weight. I made a decision that many of you may feel was a bitch thing to do. I went to his mother and sat her down. I explained to her what the drug was, who he was doing it with, what to look out for, and I also told her that I was not an innocent in all of it. I told her what I had been through and done. It was not an easy thing to do, however, she confronted him and he broke down, admitted to what he was into and changed his situation. He went to real estate school and is working for his mom now and doing well. He still smokes buds but I can live with that as long as he keeps his life on track and is doing well. The best advice I can give is do whatever it takes to get your friends/loved ones off of drugs, even if it means "ratting", or telling someone else that you feel can help. I was prepared to go to the police if that's what it meant to save his life. You may not agree with my tactics but I do not regret it for one minute and I am proud as hell of what I did.
