Where to get a car wash?
I live in Atlantic Station and the carwash port in my condo is not finished yet. My car is filthy, and GGPIS won't stop bitchin on how disrespectfulo I am to my wheels by letting them get that dirty. Does anyone know a good, reasonably priced spot in my area to get my car washed and/or detailed?

just so you know if Cactus Car wash breaks your car they are going to tell you to fuck off. And if you think you will be able to sue tham and win GL not gona happen unless you have a video of an employee breaking your car. They do have a few good detailers but the owner of Cactus cares about one thing and that washing 1000+ cars a day as fast as he can.
Shit I was thinking the same thing (where's a car wash?). I live not to far (GT) and I havent seen a car wash downtown since I moved up here.

I saw that place, even pulled in, but I left as soon as i saw that they were picking up towels from the ground to dry off cars. I am a true car wash n00b and even I know thats a huge no-no... I want a good car wash, not circle scratches all over my car lol

ICE is good for a quick touch up shine, but a good wax still does a better job. ICE looses it's shine/repelling abilities much faster then ICE.

Yeah it's good for about 2 washes, then you have to re-apply. But my tC is barely a year old so a full wax isn't needed. But the Mazda on the other hand...well...let's just say it's in dire need of a good detail.
Picking my baby up from the shop this afternoon & they were kind enough to clean her up for me. I still need to detail the interior & add a coat of wax but, at least some of the work is done
