    Default would you______for_____?

    My girlfriend and I were talking and joking around about the upcoming DMB concert in Atlanta because ticket go on sale tomorrow. The topic of conversation lead to would I let Carter Beauford(greatest rock drummer in history) have gay sex with me if I could then afterwards be able to play the drums like him? I honestly had to think about that one for a while, so. My question to me fellow IA members is.....

    What would you do for what?

    What one thing did you always want to do, or have the ability to do, or want. and what would you do for it?

    I actually took your advice and started looking around, and from what I'm seeing we're both wrong. Most are saying John Bonham of Led Zeppelin is the best... eh... i guess it's all personal opinion

    No he is not he is an Icon but not the greatest. He was amazing for his time but he could never play what Carter or Neal could play.

    Well saying someone sucks is pretty much say the band does not have talent when they all have amazing talent. Hell the least talented member is Dave himself as far as his singing goes. He can hit crazy notes but he does not have the voice he used to. He writes awesome music but his voice is almost gone. I get defensive when people use the suck word. If you say you hate them or you don't like them or think they are gay I will so ok thats your opinion and respect you for it. I hate Metallica but they are talented and play good music.

    Yeah that is going to be one of the best concert ever in my opinion. I saw The Allman Brothers when I was too young to appreciate it but I am so excited to see them now.

    yeah it did. The last concert I went to he was screaming so loud it was almost like he was tryin to destroy his voice. Hell they have been touring for almost 18 years.

    I'd rather cut off my foot then have to see that half ass liberal spewing excuse for a band play.

    And no way in hell, is that lame ass the greatest drummer of all time. I too would tend to go with Neal Peart as alot better, Jon Bonham probably the best ever.

    Either way. Don't go and it would be better.

    I used to play drums, now I play guitar.

    I know Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band of all time.

    I know that Jimmy Page is arguabley the best guitarist of all time, also up there is Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, and Angus Young.

    I know that DMB is not that great at all. Their music is mediocre at best, and while at a time I could stand it, now I just want to punch him in the face and destroy his music.

    The drummer isn't bad, but the words greatest ever, should never be associated with DMB in any aspect.

    Personally, I wouldn't perform any gay acts to get musical talent. I'd rather just buy the instrument and practice the hell out of it. As a matter of fact, that's what I did with bass. I wanted to play like Geddy or Les....and technically, I can. BUT...I don't think I'll ever be able to write the kind of shit they've written.

    As far as drumming...the dude from DMB is good. No where near the best though. Still, it's really impossible to determine who is "best" at any instrument, unless you want to talk about notes/min and shit like that. It's all about who your FAVORITE is.
