But seriously, there must be some way to do it. I'm sure the police have gotten pretty good at it, with child pornography people if nothing else. Good luck on your quest!

norton utilities has a recycle bin recovery thing...
Your computer should save a back-up periodically in case of a virus and such. Restart your computer at a saved time before the file was deleted. Might work.
I'm thinking the same, I think its called system restore?Originally Posted by Echonova
i'd be willing to bet you can still save it... may take a lot of work.... or some cash, but you can get it.
and yes.. you should also have a system restore...
If you looked at it before deleting it, it is probably still in your temp directory.
C:\documents and settings\user\local settings\temp
System Restore???....Might Work But Don't Think So.
I do know that if you have limewire and you delete it then you do a system restore back like 5 day than you have limewire agian. It may work GL
^ Ya....Try System Restore Under System Tools. Hope It Works.
i believe system restore only restores settings, not files. if the HD has not written over the file then it can be recovered even if you emptied the trash. if the file is really that important to you i would either buy a program or take it to data recovery and see what they can do for you.
i will look and see if i can find the program i had and will let you know.
