I had the chance to buy one years ago back before I bought my previous 911 turbo. I had driven my friend's R32 GTR back in '01 and while it was nice, it was nothing on the level of a good German (Porsche) or Italian (Ferrari) type of vehicle. To me, it was just "okay" in terms of the vehicle.
As I said previously, if you want to impress 16-20yr old BOYS, buy a Skyline R32/33/34 GTR. If you want to really make a statement in the real world, get something else.
With that said, I'll take a look at the new GTR when it comes out. However, it will have to improve itself greatly over the previous models for me to give it a look.
