skylines are cool...it sucks that there are a bunch of fan-boys that really kill the car.

I would get excited if I saw it also, I just hate the fact that some people really don't understand the car and just think it's over rated.

I mean I wouldn't pay 100+ for it....but hey someone did.

I don't know about shit but maybe another form of bodily fluid. I have only ever see 1 skyline it was an R33 GTST. I would like to see an R34 GTR but I am not going to fucking chase one down that I see on the road to do it. There are much cooler cars in the Atlanta Metro area. Hell there is a fucking Veyron in Atlanta.

I do say, it snice to see a Skyline in the hands of a owner who knows and respects the car and doesnt have it just to get attention. But I have to say, the R32 was the best looking one.... very understated.

You nut over the car because you see them in magazines and on TV, I deal with them every day. I have a 500+whp R34 sitting here in my shop that I can drive whenever, its not that special. I have a 450whp R32 that I can drive too, its not that great either. The R33 will be done shortly with at least 700whp on a 2.8L Tomei Stroker, you know what, that won't be anything to jizz over either. When you graduate from fanboy status and actually do something other than drool on a car then you can speak to the people who truly know them and say we just think they're over rated. Until then go back to your dark room filled with Super Street posters and masterbate to your pics on your phone.

I had the chance to buy one years ago back before I bought my previous 911 turbo. I had driven my friend's R32 GTR back in '01 and while it was nice, it was nothing on the level of a good German (Porsche) or Italian (Ferrari) type of vehicle. To me, it was just "okay" in terms of the vehicle.

As I said previously, if you want to impress 16-20yr old BOYS, buy a Skyline R32/33/34 GTR. If you want to really make a statement in the real world, get something else.

With that said, I'll take a look at the new GTR when it comes out. However, it will have to improve itself greatly over the previous models for me to give it a look.

I actually have to agree. The only people I ever really see/read/hear about "creaming" their pants over a skyline are teenage boys. I've never seen an adult, male or female, grab the sky and act like they're cheerleaders on the high school basketball team. Later, QD.

MAn you need to explain this to Moe. He thinks his car is the hottest shit in the world, but I have been trying to explain to him owning a skyline is cool but it does come with it's problems. Evo and sti's handling is much better and they cost less money to make faster. With skyline you have to wait on parts and so on. I would rather have a car that I can order parts and have them in two days compare to two months. Also with a more updated skyline coming out with a better suspension system and maybe a better motor, I will wait to see what comes of that. Because I would rather spend 80k on a car that I know will have waranty

Hell the Cayenne Turbo S runs Nurburgring faster than the R34's did. Nissan has a long jump to make the new GTR best many of the dominant sports cars already here.

I find that hard to believe. Given the reports I have been reading, that is not the case. They are trying to use that 997TT as a model, but handing a 480hp 911 turbo its ass is not an easy thing to do.

The guy that owns it knows my friend. Also has a R32 and turbo Supra MK4, all badass cars. I've heard he can break traction at 80mph in the R34, but its only RWD, not AWD.
