I was going to say the same thing, I've been talking to people who have been into martial arts for years and they say the same thing.. no matter how tough you are avoid fighting at any cost, if there is a way out then take it. You are very lucky they decided to jump you with nothing more than their fists, a real gang would have easily left you for dead.
