I'm not reading this whole thread, althought I did read half of it but....

Remember this:

Not everything YOU think is "funny" actually IS funny to everyone.

Not everything YOU think is the end of the world IS the end of the world.

If you like to "cut jokes", you really can't get mad when someone uses YOU as their punchline all in the name of "cutting jokes".

People need to realize that some things are indeed funny, regardless of the color of your skin. Sometimes it's funny BECAUSE of the color of your skin. Sometimes it's funny AND it's about somebody that LOOKS like you. It is NOT the end of the world. It is NOT always about race. It is NOT about being "racist". It SOMETIMES is merely about something being funny and you laughing about it. That's it. All of us have laughed at Black, White, Latino, Oriental, men, women, dogs, cats, grandma, momma, and body part jokes. Does that makes us anything? Not necessarily and not automatically.




Bottomline folks, something may be funny to YOU but offend someone else. If you truly are a good person, you would appologize to that one person that you offended and move on. You don't have to grovel. You don't have to wash their feet. You do however have to be sincere and have of ORIGINALLY meant your comment as a joke. Some people need to grow thicker skin and some people need to have better manners.
