Lemme put it like this: I moved out here in 91, and I didn't have ANY white friends before I did. There were 3 white people in my middle school, counting me. Ya know what? No one cared. I have never looked at people from a color stand point until I was forced to on some occasions out here. I don't like it.

damn? yea it is forced down here unless your sheltered by your parents that are against it. to me i think its odd for someone not to deal with it even at a young age. but thats cause i was raised around it by other pple talking. and for awhile my pops didnt want me and my sister to date white guys no matter what. but it took us a couple of yrs to break him down. now he doesnt care.

Well my point is (I guess based on my upbringing) is why should anyone have to "deal with it?" There is no reason that so much emphasis should be put on race at all IMO. I just don't (and never will) get why there is so much emphasis on it down here. It's fucking ridiculous.
