    I've got all of you beat.....on Friday morning bright and early.....The wife and I are going on our first "no kids" vacation in God knows how long to the BEACH...... . We are going with another couple (yall know them, but I'm not gonna say cause the leg humpers will come a runnin' ). The rental car's been confirmed, the resort's been confirmed, the drop off of kids/dogs/fish has been confirmed, and the house sitter has been confirmed. Tomorrow I'm packing and picking up the car.....Friday before the sun comes up we's out......can't wait.

    woohoo Jaime... You are a lucky man... or must I say Joan is a lucky woman...

    I would have loved to have been able to go somewhere this weekend.. but My ex is coming down to get Brittanee on Saturday, and we are having dinner with them sat night... ( ya gotta be cordial, ya know?) and then the rest is history...

    We had been wanting to take a break for a while, but as you know kids/school stuff always makes you plan around it. We were having dinner with them and just decided to jet out during a long weekend. Did some internet searching, found the place, and just freaking booked it. We didn't even have solid plans as to what we'd do with the kids....screw it, we booked it. Luckily our family is a push-over with the kids, so they are going to grandma's house for a day or so, uncle's house for another couple, finally ending up at the other grandma's house until we get back. Worked out. It was actually harder figuring out how to take care of the animals than it was the kids......go figure...

    BTW, Cordial with your ex??? What happened??? Did you fall and hit your head really hard or something????? JP.
