Sorry QD but you are just wrong. The Civic started out as an economy car, the 240 a sports car. The Civic is still in production and has MILLIONS of oftermarket parts for it. The 240 no. The Civic is a gay peice of shit that has never in ANY form ever been close to a sports car. The 240 comes better equipped in the handling department than most new American sports cars.........TEN OR MORE YEARS AGO. I do not see 240s with big gay body kits every 5 feet like Civics. I in fact see more EVOs and STIs in my daily commute that 240s. If anything is the new Civic......it si CIVICS they are and always will be the most modded and riced car in the world. There is a VAST amount of cars between the 240 and Civic in the "aftermarket" and rice departments.

I have not driven my 240 in 2 weeks. I took it for a spin tonight and noticed the exhaust was WAY quiet. I got it warmed up, redined it through second and half roll of toilet paper came shooting out of the exhaust. I then told the girl at the drivethrough to lear fucking English. I have not been to work in a couple weeks and the walls in this house are closing in on me so I have been on edge. And I have no money.

You misread what my post was about. The 240 is the new Civic(as I said). The Civic, for the past several years has been the car to modify. Everyone had one. Nowadays, it's the 240. Everybody is now focusing on wanting a 240. Sorry if you don't get the correlation.

This is where your misunderstand still comes in effect. Was the market always there for the Civic? Were there always millions of aftermarket parts for the Civic? Nope. See where I'm heading? Later, QD.

I don't see a million 240s on the road like other cars. Like I said if anything is the new Civic it is EVOs.

I guess you're not getting it so I'll post this in as delicate wording as possible:

    The
    240
    Is
    The
    Up
    And
    Coming
    New
    Civic

If you haven't been paying attention, I guess you wouldn't notice. Over half the people on IA are buying these things. People are selling their cars to buy these things. Don't defend it like I'm bashing the car. I think it's a cool little car, but because it's "the thing to do now," I would never get one. Later, QD.

Sorry but I don't agree. I think all the little dick retards that had Civics are now buying EVOs and STIs. I am glad you respect the 240 it is a great (underpowered) car. But it is hard to compete with something like the Civic with a car that stopped being produced almost ten years ago.

That's cool. I respect your opinion. As long as you respect my fact. Lolol. But check out the site while you're browsing. Check out how many 240's are for sale and how many people are trying to buy them. Or check out how many people are selling their cars to buy 240s. Lolol. Ever since F&F3, the 240 has been "the new Civic."

Hypno, below is my Civic. Later, QD.

HAHAHA um, ok... lets take your bone stock 1989-1997 240 and, hmm, lets say a gto, or a vette, or hell even a camaro, take it to road atlanta, and see who pulls better lap times... want more variety? lets take a mustang gt, or hell, just take your pick. now, mod for mod? yes 240s can be fairly stout. but stock for stock, hell no.

*edit: yeah, sorry, didnt feel like reading everything... this just made me lol

Your point is HALFWAY decent except for the fact that your comparing 140 HP cars to 300HP cars and a shitload of other variables. You cant tell me (with a traight face) that you think your GTO can outhandle a 240 in a curve

LOL at you if you think that

Add enough power to a 240 to balance the Power/Weight ratio and itll turn laps quicker than any of the cars you mention minus the vette

Horsepower doesnt equal good lap times
    FUCK B&D COMMUNICATIONS!

correct me if i'm wrong here, but in my original quotation, it was said that 240's come equipped with better suspension than the NEW AMERICAN SPORTS CARS.... so tell me, what do you think new american sports cars consist of? also talking stock for stock... of course you can modify one to destroy american muscle in the twisties, but that wasnt the variable... you said factory, and i gave you my rebuttal.

    discuss...
