Nope, the Touareg's is a 5.0 Liter Turbo-Diesel V10. It puts down a bit over 300 bhp, but more importantly, 550 lb.ft. of torque!Originally Posted by HypnoToad

They took it off the market soon after the release itself though, because of emissions issues. Volkswagen's working on this and re-releasing the engine on the upcoming Touareg.
That engine's also available in the Euro-spec Pheaton.
