"Lawl" too bad your a dumbfuck and the prices would just go HIGHER. Due to the fact that people didnt buy gas, yet they were planning on raised prices anyways. They lost on one day, so the prices get jacked people need gas. So they buy it, at the jacked up price just for the simple fact of.....THEY HAVE TO.

I really can't believe people buy into that stupid fuckin shit, about not buying it.

    that was the joke.
Because only idiots thought that gas boycott would drop gas prices down.

On a serious note we need to atleast start by considering having daily drivers that are HYBRIDS. The gas hi story is never going to change and just like anything the prices will continue to rise. People want to get richer and richer..and because gas is a need and demand will always be high. Stations can charge us tommorow $4.00 a gallon and we still will pay for it.
At least with a hybrid you can save alitte in gas in the long run put more money in your pocket to do better things with it.
New Hybrids are expensive at the moment but nothing wrong with a used one.

If everyone starts using less gas they will jack the fuck out of the prices. Why do you think gas costs 10 bucks a gallon in Europe? They don't use as much. We need to start killing people when they raise the prices. That would be the only thing that would keep the prices down. Unfortunately I am not kidding. I am not saying I am going to kill anyone. But If oil company higher ups start getting capped when the prices go up, they will be back down to $2 and lower a gallon in no time.

Simply because RG is saying this, and he loves to screw with people, I wouldnt be surprised if gas prices fell tomorrow.

Psh, just trade your Vette for the LS3 one...it's "Diplacement on Demand" compatible.

    Yea...that'll save you some fuel...

So, it would cost me 90 cents more to fill up then when I did last week, not a big deal.

Anyway...at $3.00 a gallon, it's still below $40.00 to get about ~450 miles on the tank for the Diesel Dub. I can get up to 600+ if I really try.

I'm tellin' you guys, diesel is an excellent option. It's roughly $1,000 extra compared to the gasoline counterpart, and that can break even with fuel savings in about 30,000 miles. That's how it works out for a Mercedes Benz E320 CDI anyway. Now imagine a car that gets even better mileage...say the Volkswagen. Problem is, there's such a limited choice among diesel cars here. Over in Europe, damn near everything has a diesel version.

No worries about not finding diesel stations...your extended range would make up for that.

I drive normally and get 38 mpg on average...mixed city and highway.

The fuel light comes on when there are two gallons left. It has a fourteen gallon tank...so yea, I fill up twelve every time.

Isn't it odd too. You'd think with all the low rpm torque, then gas should be in the high 300s. I tested it one time, and although It was mostly city driving, I drove like a grandma never going above 2700 rpm. Still couldnt break 330 miles/tank.

The best I've done is from here to D.C. nonstop, and it showed the light, which meant another two gallons.

I would expect like 330 or so, but I don't know about high 300's. I have experimented with the grandma driving but I can't drive like that for very long, so it never works.

Yea...all 100 furious horses peak at 4000 RPM, and it redlines at 4500 RPM. It makes 177 lb.ft. of torque though, and you feel it all. Numbers will say that it's slower, but it feels quick, and I can pass on the highway with ease thanks to the torque. I haven't driven its gasoline counterpart though. I could give you a much better answer if I had.
