No reason for people to come down on him. It's a piece of memorabilia from one of the actual competitors. Kind of like catching a homerun baseball hit by Sammy Sosa at a game. He got something more from the event than just a t-shirt like everybody else that went. Let him be happy about it and share. No harm in that.
