He also doesn't want to race anymore.

My thoughts are that he's still planning something, but at this point I've pretty much owned his ass.

But tackle the matter legally. Your parents are attorneys, why don't you let them talk to his parents? The kid obviously has no power and spoiled by the parents. And since they're so ignorant about that, let your folks do the talk. It's the safe and mature way of handle it. You won't be in trouble either.

Dont do anything..its not worth getting in trouble...besides, you have insurance dont you? also the police are REQUIRED to make a report and look into it if the damages exceed $200. If you know their names, their tag numbers or where they live its an easy fix. Back in 2001 i had my car broken into in a school parking lot while i was in class. some kids broke in and smoked pot in it (was really heavy). the only damage was they put their smokes out on my dash!!! which left burn marks on 3 different places. i looked it up, and retail a new dash was WELL beyond $200. i had the police make a report. luckly there were 3 other ppl that same day that had their cars tires slashed or windshields broken...i was lucky. they caught the kids through "word of mouth" at the school from ppl talking ab it too much. the kids were all 16-17. their parents had to pay for all the damages....my new dash was $680 brand new from the dealer lol....i was given the money and never bothered with the 3 burn marks on the dash. those kids got what they had coming and no one ever had to take physical action.
