    Default Anyone been to Amsterdam?

    I'm heading over the The Haague with my dad next week but popping into Amsterdam for 2 days while he's flying jets back and forth from NYC. Anybody know a good hostel to stay at or good attractions to see?

    when I was there in 2001 we stayed in an actual hotel/resort. Hostels are usually disgusting and you share a room with another tourist, or even a few others. If you have the $ i definately suggest looking for a resort for the couple of days you are there

    I'm staying in a pretty nice hotel in Rotterdam for 4 nights but I'm going to spend 2 nights alone in Amsterdam so cheap hostel for me.
