this is painless if you are shy and want to avoid a direct approach, which no offense will probably result in you shooting yourself in the foot.

ask her friend to organize a dinner or night out or something with some of your guy friends from work and then her and the girls, including the one you're eyeing. then just make convo with her the whole night and ask for the digits. 2 days later call her up and ask for a hangout alone somewhere
