    Default Rather work on your car?

    Anyone here rather stay at home and work on their damn car than go out to a meet? Or am I the only loser who sits home on a friday night tooling around under the hood of their current project?

    Seriously, I was about to hit up malibu tonight when i look down the driveway and see the car i've been working on non-stop for the last few weeks. I thought to myself, "damn, I really want to finish gutting that thing and start prepping for the motor work." Needless to say, I didn't go to malibu.

    u didn't miss much.. except one of our lnc members wrecked his car and went to jail... I woulda stayed home ..but i walked around for a bit.. nothing too exciting..

    I'm actually working on an mk2 supra... Going to be a drift/autox car.

    I found it a few months ago and brought up the "father-son" project idea to my dad... He's like, "yeah sure we can go halves and work on the car together...".

    lol I've been fucking him on the money and he's been fucking me on the labor. It's a perfect working model.

    To answer the question, I would rather stay home. However tonight was the first meet I've been to (Other than stopping at a Winder meet for 5 min)? Lately when I do stay home, my wife thinks of all kinds of other shit for me to do. Not that I mind, but the car is not getting worked on either way.

    Bump for a saturday night to be spend under my car. Pulled thew hole damn rear end apart last night, figured out that it was the wheel bearing making the grinding noises, and didn't have a damn socket big enough to take the nut off the back of the hub.

    So... Here's to hopefully finishing that and the alternator tonight.

    Naw im tearin the front end off the Z. Never thought I had a full hardware store full of nuts and bolts holding on my front bumper. Took me over 2 hours just to get that thing off. Now I know why they say Z's suck to work on.
