As for TopSpeed I -have- done business with them and they have been nothing but great. So what I see are two good shops being unfairly attacked by a bad customer.
not everyone has a good experience where they go. Topspeed did not do his injector o-rings correctly therefore causing the motor to fail. They didnt tighten down his trans pan either and all his fluid leaked out. Every shop has their bad times. Nobody is perfectly innocent.

    that is NOT TRUE.

What we told Tank was :

It appears the wrong oring were used, but we were unsure WHY his motor went. We never placed blame with Topspeed. His Distributor was ALSO COMPLETELY LOOSE, as in it was sliding back an forth with ease. He and his buddies were the LAST ONES TO WORK ON HIS CAR, they installed his GT42 Turbo.

When we put his car back together, we found out he had a 22PSI WASTEGATE SPRING. Tank himself admitted to the car overboosting. He probably did some long strung out bosot pull an the motor detonated, blew the oring in the manifold out, and blew the rod bearings out causing the motor to rod knock.

Injector o rings do not cause a motor to FAIL. that is absurd. But again, tank took what he WANTED TO HEAR and made a crusade against Topspeed, just like he is doing now.
