i dunno i thought a lot like you til recently QD

what really is an extra 2-5 hundred bux? Will it really kill you considering the time you'll use the phone? (1 to 2 years)

To me thats a small ass price to pay for the convenience it adds. Fuckin the camera on my s710 is pretty badass, whenever i wanna throw some shit up for sale i just snap a pic and bluetooth it to my computer, email it to whoever, pic message it, put it on the memory card and plug it in, whatever... Even at fuckin best buy you can walk thru the isles with printers and bluetooth the pics there and they'll print.

Its just the added convenience... 'specially being able to share spontaneous shit with other ppl, say i see the ricest car i've ever seen, or my homeboys bitch with some other dude lol... just snap the pic right there, leaves no room for speculation, no one carries a digital camera with them... but camera phones are soooo damn useful... And internet phones are even more useful. I literally use almost every feature on my phone makes shit so much easier. Where i worked, email was crucial and reports were on very strict deadlines, the email capabilities of my phone made shit 100x easier when I wasn't near a computer... saved me from having to leave wherever i was in the middle of the night to find a kinkos or go home.

on the S710 you can also set it to record calls with the press of a button while in the call, which makes it perfect for making prank calls lolol and sharing them on the interweb.

I'm in the market for another phone but i'm definitely going to stick with a Sony Ericcson, this phone is fuckin bulletproof, the software is on point, and i dropped it literally a million times, HARD and it works perfectly, takes awesome ass pictures too (1.3MP)
