well, i've had it my whole life and have never been on medication for it. i've smoked on and off for the past 2-3 years. besides smoking, nothing really helps because it's a non-curable neurological disorder that you are born with. it has to do mainly with the levels of dopamine in your brain. most psychoactive drugs like weed alter these levels. unless you can go see your doc without your mom's permission, you are pretty much SOL.
