    Default DB1 stranded on highway

    I know no one cares, but this is a cry for help in the dark! My car died on the highway. If anyone can find a way for me to take it somewhere besides towing it all the way back to gwinnett, it would be a great help. Im dead broke right now, and I just need to get it off the high way.

    Its a black 4 door 1990 acura integra with hall plates on it. If anyone can help, pm me or call me at 770.237.8913

    p.s. I think the batery is dead or something is wrong with the alternator cause when I could jump it to start it, it would run, but in like 2 minutes, I would loose control of the throttle and it would just die!

    PLEASE HELP A FELLOW TUNER!

    Alternator, car doesn't run off the battery once it's started. However I'm in North Carolina and can't help getting the car moved.

    Put a battery in it from a diff car. It will drive off the battery for 10+miles

    It'll run until the battery dies if the alternator is shot.

    Either way, count on getting an alternator. Maybe count on a battery in the near future if it acts up after you replace the alternator.

    So what part didn't you understand about the battery dying... ... plus, all the windows except the drivers window don't work. I just got the car two weeks ago, and were still in the process of getting it where I want it.

    From what I heard and read, I thought you were cool and all with your sprayglo hook up, but that was a queer thing to say... . If it was a funny topic that was up for shits and giggles, believe me, I would have made fun off myself! I called Statewide to get it towed today, but they wont do it unless im by the car, and obviously, I had no way to get there. I'll give it a try tommorrow.
