So maybe Im a newb but arn't those just bulbs you can put it yourself? meaning why does it cost so much?

You can put them in yourself, We did the HID conversion on mine in 10 minutes, BUT its not just a bulb.. Its a bulb, ballast, etc These are true HID kits not xenon bulbs
