You know that the majority of those cars are stolen just to part out. Interchangeable parts are cool for all of us, but they are ultra cool for theives.

Wow... I'm suprised the Mustang made that list, usually I dont see it on the most stolen list. Although they are very easy to steal (atleast Foxbodies are) if ya know the secret heh... I dont really worry about anyone stealing my car, cause I seriously doubt anybody could drive my car, much less get the car in reverse... If Jeff Harris, the local mustang guy, can't get my car in reverse, I doubt any moronic car thief could heh. Car alarms are definatly worth there money... thats all I can say. $200 alarm to protect your $10,000+ investment.

    /\ speak for yourself

they don't make the list b/c they use chip keys which have to be cut at the dealer only & are vin specific... thats why you only see japanese/domestics on the list. NO EUROS!!!

Most Hondas went to chip'd keys in 01 and Acura in 02 so most of the cars you see are 00 or below for Honda's

well over seas vw/bmw/benz are top stolen... but they crooks know what to look for... on old dubs the way to get keys for them is they steal the passenger handled which used to contain the vin # then you'd take it get the key cut and a week or two later the car would be stolen

Same thing they are doing with most of the honda/acura. Write down the VIN, get someone at the dealer to code cut a key and then boom, car is gone.
