Somehow I knew you'd start a thead after saying yours in Jorje's.

I don't know my score, I've only taken out a small loan and have a cell phone. How can I find out?

freecreditreport.com has monitoring from all 3 bureaus.

And Kelly, I don't know, the only credit I've done was taking out a loan when I was 18 and paying it all back on time. I've never had a credit card.

    Right now it is:

750, 752, and 761 depending on the agency.

It's lower than normal as I have had 8 credit inquiries in the last year (when I bought my house last June and when I am refinancing right now, that accounts for 4 or 5) and I also have my TV to pay off (I have the money to pay it off, but it is sitting in an account earning interest until the first payment is due in '08 - I'll pay it off then). I used a Mitsubishi credit card (had to apply for it) to get the special defered payment rate. That was another inquiry.

Using the TransUnion credit analyzer projection tool, they say that my score will jump up to almost 803pts when I pay off the tv and the credit inquiries fall off of my record.

Don't know. I do know it's good enough that I'm not signing up for their "protection service" at $13 a month to find it out.

By the way, you CANNOT get your FICO score for free. You can get your credit report for free from annualcreditreports.com (no other site is backed by the 3 companies - no, neither is freecreditreport.com). However, as with any service, you have to pay to get your FICO (credit) score.

    DO NOT use that site.

https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp is the ONLY trusted site by the 3 credit agencies.

Also, you cannot get your FICO score for free, either (unless you have a coupon code for a free one that gets rid of the site charge).

Your score should have gone up dramatically if you've paid on time since October.

Nothing, the FICO score is your credit score. Just keep in mind that all three agencies are typically close in their FICO scores, but you can have an average between all three as well.
