Actually, no. I didn't get nearly enough to buy a Porsche turbo with the money that I got. I just want to clarify that before rumors get started (and they will I am sure).Originally Posted by vteckidd

i heard those rumors, but i know after you go through something like that, there isnt a lot of money left over, medical bills are alot, and if they only had like 50k coverage, you actually end up losing ALOT of money, its a tough thing to go through.Originally Posted by Ruiner

Yes, there are always rumors by people who don't know what really happened or something along those lines. I think that they forget that I am a 29 yr old man (was 26 at the time) who makes a very good living (ie, I don't work a no-end job) in the professional business world.Originally Posted by vteckidd
My medical bills actually pushed $200,000.The insurance of the person that hit me was nothing close to that. I had to use my own medical insurance to pay the majority of my bills. It was $9,000 just for the helicopter flight, alone. I know that it was around $80,000 just for the 5 days in the CICU. I then was in a normal room for 25 more days. Include physical therapy, testing, etc, and you tack on even more money. It sucks.

Thanks. The rumors still suck, though. It makes having the car very hard at times because of that.Originally Posted by quickdodgeŽ
