fighting in general is dumb, people who pull guns out and try and act hard are just punks, i dont recommend pulling a gun on anyone because I know alot of people who would shoot you for that even if you are just trying to be intimidating.

Where did this become a "pull your gun without the intention of using it" thread?

If I pull my gun, my intention is to stop the threat. If there is no threat, I don't pull my gun. It's that simple. There are laws about when and how you can pull your piece ya know...

No, the point of this thread is: If you are a truly mature grown up, you don't go around "challenging" people to fights. If you do, be prepared to reap the consequences of someone's will for self-preservation.

If someone challenges me to a fight, I'll just gladly walk away. If he follows/comes after me, well then, the story gets a bit more complex and he should be prepared to reap the consequences of his actions. All situations are unique. I can't give a blanket statement that covers all.

i wouldn't hesitate to carry around a gun either
or use it if i had to in defense.

But things like jumping someone, cheap shots, kicking someone while their down just so you can win is what im asking you. Forget the fact about whether fighting is right or not, this is a situation that you have to go through with in this scenario.

Call me old fashioned but if i had to fight someone i would rather do it honrably and lose rather then rely on cheap tactics. If the other guy pulls something out on me first though, then by all means, its open game
