It's like the guy who got INTO my car that night at the gas station. I didn't "see" a weapon immediately, but I immediately pulled my gun and got the upper hand? Why you ask? It's simple: to not gain the upper hand could be be a hazard to my health/life.

but i mean challenging someone to a fight under the circumstances that they have been doing a lot of trash talking or have royally screwed you over in some way and a fight is the last resort.

when defending yourself in a situation like that
wielding a gun is completely understandable

i'm saying when you are on the offense, using weapons just seems like you can't back up your words. basically, If you have to use a weapon to gain the upper hand then don't start a fight.
