My dad parks like an asshole. He parks in two spaces so that people won't park next to him.

That is one of my pet peeves. I can't stand people that can't park. I have a little "note" that I have photo copied and have several on hand in my car at all times that I leave when someone parks to close to me. I can't stand that.

I do understand a couple of those that are labeled assholes though when they park over towards the lines of a handicapped space. I do that too to give myself as much "door ding" room when I can't park way off somewhere away from idiots.

I'd squeeze my tiny Yaris as close to his car as possible so he couldn't get in his car. Then I'd just climb out my hatch.

I just find the parking space that is far from everyone else and next to a curb. I then park as close to the curb as possible. My wife used to get mad evertime I did it, but now she is used to it. She makes a comment every once and a while, like "we could have left the car at home and walked".
