To me, the funny part about threads like this isnt really the fact they are dumb enough to get the ticket then complain like we have the goddamn answers to their questions but (as ruiner mentioned) the fact that he was dumb enough to do it to begin with and also, how long did it take for him to reach these speeds and how long was he doing them but yet he wonders why he got caught.....

im sure everyone does spirited runs everynow and then but this dumbass probably had it would out for 15 minutes or so not like a quick 45 second run or anything

I don't know... why don't you call the people who do know and ask them? Is it really that hard? They already know you have the ticket.... it's not a secret. How in the hell are we supposed to know if the judge will go easy on you or give you the biggest fine possible? We don't... so suck it up and find out for yourself.

Let's see... unless your insurance agent posts on IA... no one here can tell you. You insurance is based on so many things. Unless someone who is the exact same age, drives the exact same car, has the same driving record as you and lives within just a few blocks of you and has the exact same insurance company and coverage as you is on IA and got the same ticket you did... NO ONE here can tell you. (yes, if we have an actual insurance agent on here they MAY be able to guess but it's just that, a guess without knowing everything about you, your car and your record) Call your agent or just wait. If you don't want them to know you got a ticket... wait... and save up some money in the meantime. They will find out eventually though.

I'm not going to say not do it because we all do stupid things but I can say you're retarded.

Eight years ago I got popped for 124 in a 65 by GSP, we bullshitted about the climbing gear he saw in the back of my car for 15 minutes then wrote me up for 90 in a 65...couple days later gave him a call and he dropped it down to 88 so I could keep my license.

im just seeing if anyone had tickets like this. to see what everything is going to cost me etc. and no i am not complaining and wondering why i got caught i know im a dunbass for driving like that. yes for my car to reach 50mph takes 4 miles. and yes i thopught i was getting arrested but he seemed like he could care less. countine the flame i need a reality check. sorry for wasting your time guys. and i drove to work 60 mph today....

You can try and Sign up for a DD class right now so you get 4pts back on your license! You can atleast show that paperwork in court upon arraignment and try and get some cushion from the judge!

If you want to know how much it is then depending on the county/city either go to their site and enter your citation number or pick up the phone and call the clerk of courts, nobody on here is going to do that for you...every single department, county, city, jurisdiction in this state is going to be a differant price.

Take defensive driving or at least sign up for it BEFORE your arraignment.

usually you won't get charged with anything more than what's on the ticket..i've seen some people mention wreckless driving and such....here's my advice, since i got busted for 109 in a 65 four years ago on 985 (was late to work as well very early morning)...i got a lawyer for 500 bucks, and paid a fine of 250..they dropped all points on the license and let me go...my lawyer made me do 45 hours of community service and defensive driving before the court case...when we got there we presented that to the judge and he dropped points and said "slow your ass down son"...that was all...

ya i was doing 68 in a 40 only 28 over... still more then 24 though and i should have got my liscence suspended..
but i got a lawyer
and my friends dad shop wrote this thing for me that said my speedometer was off by 9 mph so they lowered my speed to 15 mph and i got 16 hours of community service and im still on probation and my court date was in august.
all my court fines have totaled up to like over 400 dollars cause probation is 25 a month.
