got a ticket 40 over the speed limit

My buddy got a ticket for 37 over in his 69 GTO... He went to court, they literally told him his fine was too big for that court to deal with, he had to wait and go to another court and bring the payer of the insurence (his dad a former marine who was not entirely exicited should we say) in which he got a 250 fine, 6 months probation, and 31 hours community service.

I got a 100mph ticket in Monroe County and all I had to do was pay $280 and I was on my way. It did help that the speed limit was 65 though.
