It could have come from Canada... I've seen several on e-bay.. Don't know how hard it is to import an imported car from canada..

Even if it had come from Canada thats where I was going to buy mine from. I tried every which way around the law to get the car here. They said the car would have to be cut in half for it to even get here. US has shitty safety regulations. Even if the vins were cut off the car and replaced with some from a USDM spec supra, same color year ande EVERYTHING. It is still illegal.Originally Posted by sirkus34
Well it would only matter if you had full coverage insurance. Right? As long as you're not looking for the insurance company to pay for it if it gets wrecked.. then no one really checks the true vin numbers. I know that sounds like a really shaddy thing to do. But if you take an old ass supra and throw the vins on it.. say it was that car just with a RHD and 1jz swap... As long as you took your time to swap a lot of the tags.. then you'd be good right?Originally Posted by NSCredondo
I know it's still illegal. But I'm not talking about stealing the car. As long as you keep the other supra with the vin numbers you borrowed.
