Hey, im new to Importatlanta.com my friend sign me up, this is one of my frist times logging in, anyways, i got a 1991 JDM toyota supra and im THINKING about selling it its in mint condition , its legal but i was wondering how much people would pay for it , if this question has been asked sorry, if you could PM me or whatever that would be fine , thanks. i think it was around 17k but im not sure.

6-10k is what most ppl would pay for a low mileage right hand supra in my opinion

Ya ummm...Not saying you are full of shit but where the fuck do you live. Before I bought the Z I was going to buy a full JDM supra, targa, 1jz, RHD, the whole shibang if you will. And right before I bought it I called customs and they said that it is totally illegal. So ya you either have an 1)illegal supra, 2)someone did some real sneaky shit swapping vins, or 3)...well this car is just illegal. Any proof that it is legal. And did you pay the thousands of dollars to get the car safety tested so that it would be legal. Also where did you get the car?
It could have come from Canada... I've seen several on e-bay.. Don't know how hard it is to import an imported car from canada..

Even if it had come from Canada thats where I was going to buy mine from. I tried every which way around the law to get the car here. They said the car would have to be cut in half for it to even get here. US has shitty safety regulations. Even if the vins were cut off the car and replaced with some from a USDM spec supra, same color year ande EVERYTHING. It is still illegal.
Well it would only matter if you had full coverage insurance. Right? As long as you're not looking for the insurance company to pay for it if it gets wrecked.. then no one really checks the true vin numbers. I know that sounds like a really shaddy thing to do. But if you take an old ass supra and throw the vins on it.. say it was that car just with a RHD and 1jz swap... As long as you took your time to swap a lot of the tags.. then you'd be good right?
I know it's still illegal. But I'm not talking about stealing the car. As long as you keep the other supra with the vin numbers you borrowed.

Not to mention if you ever got into a serious wreck with it and fatally injured someone they would thouroughly investigate the car. And when they see you had been playing wth vin numbers. It came for can. yeah dude i kno , that what i though when i was buying it (i did not read rest of post so if someone is saying this my bad) anyways yeah i e-mailed the dude like uh did you swap the vins ,etc, hold on let me get the e-mail . Me:will i be able to drive it in the USA, Legaly, many friends told me no but i found a few people who sell they JDM cars in the US. Few days ago i search on ebay and fround a real JDM Toyota MR2 legal and right hand drive. Them:yes all these cars are legal in north america and we give you the canadian documents so it means this car is no longer JDM it is canadian but right hand drive you can drive back to USA
Yeah i kno what you mean i was planing to buy one from this one play think it was called japanpartern and friends where talking about the VINS
