I instantly knew that you didn't care about what this thread was about just by looking at that pic of your car. You probably don't know shit about the car you drive.Originally Posted by Lucky SC

COUNT IT!!!!!! To do the sc four hundred justice on a low budget all you need is 18-19" work equip(the vip style model, not 03s duhhhh), 5zigen border exhuast(4.0 V8 never soundt so gouddddd), and JIC VIP cilovers. And its not easier said then done, well within grasp.Originally Posted by spacelion

First of all there is love here for anyone who is intrested in import tuning !! But isnt building original japanese sports cars and using genuine parts what this passion and hobbie is all about? Its like in high school when Tommy Hilfiger was the "cool" thing to sport and do. But since you couldnt afford or even care for the real deal, you bought knock offs and what not. You become a person wearing fake goods, and just end up on a band wagon. Using fake parts, and building replicas is no different. If you dont get that warm fuzzy feeling from owning geniune performance parts from japan, and knowing your car truely is one of kind, then you truly are that nasty word. A trend rider lol. Just part of a fad that will die out. The overkilled, overplayed label: "JDM". That word has been thrown around like a worn out hooker. I feel its just down right dirty to see that "spoon CTR." on autotrader. The truth hurts. I guess to judge a car, as aweful as it sounds, just simply look at it and see if it says these words that sum up exactly japan's aftermarket tuners intnetions:FUNCTIONALITY and LEAN. The japansese style that people find so attractive doesnt even exist, when approaching motorsports, STYLE is not in the vocab. The style is a result of function. Looking past the FAKE wheels and stock intact interior leads to to beLIEve there is no way in hell this baby is rocking true spoon or even Type R blood running thru its chassis. IMO I would not even think twice about recreating someone else's masterpiece, well maybe if they gave permission and it was an EXACT replica. Now an exact replica of Spoons CTR, that would be cool. The owner should look into that. Maybe japanese tuners should somehow introduce copyright infringements on their property.<br> Ps. How the crap did that guy find a person/vinyl to replicate the exterior of the spoon ctr hahaha
