Uhh, is that an airsoft gun or an actual firearm?

If it is an actual firearm, did you by any chance get a Class 3 permit for it? Because if not, I'll see you when you get out of prison. And at $225, it is probably stolen. They normally go for $10,000+.

and pretty sure that one in the pic is real or at least the magazines are, the magazines have the 9mm round holder on the top and the counter on the backside.

You must not know what an air soft gun is. Those things look damn near real as hail. Especially in a photo. I have an air soft Uzi and in pics, I had everyone thinking it was real. Clip even slides out to dump the ammo into and all. Later, QD.

I know what airsoft is, hell the local toy stores here in Japan sell bb guns that are more realistic then airsoft ones to the point that military stationed here are not permitted to purchase them, lol.

All I was saying was that the 9mm MP5 magazines in the pic are real to the point that the round counter holes are in the rear along with the round holder "teeth" on the top. At least from the angle they are shown in the picture.

These air soft guns are made to look as real as they can down to the last little detail...including holes and teeth. Later, QD.

I have a couple Co2 rifles that you can't tell the difference in period......

The one I definately know you can't tell is real (Unless you've held and just know what a rifle or any gun looks like) is this Tokyo Mauri assualt rifle! Weighs about 10lbs, fires loud and has no markings of it being an airsoft gun! Of course the dead give away is the exit chamber at the end of the barrel.......

but yea, I'm with everyone else, I doubt that's a real Mp5 full auto lol! are full auto's even legal to sale (I don't know but I doubt they are).

    No

I went to a privately owned school known as Gunsite (gunsite.com) and not even they are allowed to just "buy" full auto's. They have special permitts to maintain them for instructional purposes to teach law enforcement and military. As part of them maintaining the automatic weapons, ATF has to come on a regular basis to inspect them.

So people who posses privately owned automatic weapons did 1 of 2 things,
    1) coverted the weapon to full auto
    2) obtained the weapon illegally

You are kidding right? You need a class 3 liscence to purchase/posses an automatic weapon. If you have the liscence it is perfectly legal.

You may only own a machine gun that was manufactured and registered with the BATF before May 19, 1986. Weapons manufactured after that date are restricted for Military and Law Enforcement use only.

So YES you are correct, however having a class 3 doesn't mean you can just go out and start picking up weapons left and right, as stated before and even someone else mentioned it, you gotta register and all that jazz so the local law enforcement can keep tabs on the weapons.

    true stuff

and btw wtf are you doing randomly buying a pretty gun not knowing what it is?

and what are you even using it for? bc u seemingly don't have the proper licenses and registrations to have it, if u jumped the gun (lol) and bought it like that.

and don't tell me ur using it for hunting... unless you plan on hunting humans that is

The bolded part is incorrect. You do not need a "license" to own an NFA weapon.

Airsoft MP5 Magazines, notice the top where a 9mm round would normally be inserted.

Side view of a real MP5 magazine, note the round holding teeth on top and the faint view of the round counter holes on the rear of the magazine.

Damn dude. Calm down. It isn't this serious for you to search every pic of this gun to prove me wrong. It won't work anyway seeing as how I never said an exact fact about it being real or not. Later, QD.

I never implied I was upset, I was just showing the magazines shown in the pictures are not Airsoft magazines. It was your choice to assume I didn't know what Airsoft was.

I never assumed shit. I just asked. I don't know of anyone who doesn't know what one is. Besides, the pics you posted still don't prove anything. I could care less if it's real or not. Cool looking either way. Later, QD.
