I own both but I prefer rwd totally. you have so much more feed back from a rwd car. the only benifit to fwd is more leg room in a smaller space.

people wouldn't hate so much on fwd if it wasn't for initial dumb and the drifting craze. a car is a car, you can't say one is better than the other because it's your opinion, and opinions are relative.

i was long into rwd cars since before eith one of those things were here in the states... all the cars i have owned have been rwd... startign with my RX-7... rwd just makes more sense.

wrong i have hated fwd since i owned a rabbit long before the drift craze.. if u ever owned both a fwd and rwd at the same time u would know.

I'm not into drifting and I still will never own another fwd car again. Drifting isn't the only thing you can do in a rwd car.

a perfect example of how fwd is gay is look at what happened to toyota and nissan when they went to fwd the older rwd models rock the new fwd models are gay as hell.
fwd sucks the balance of the car is fucked. torque steer sucks. they push like a mother fucker under acceleration thru a corner fuk fwd.

all defenders of fwd name some decent fwd cars.

ahhhh AWD does not increase a cars ability to make higher lateral G numbers, it makes a car more stable. Sport Compact Car did a test of FF vs FR vs AWD years ago with stock platforms as well as highly tuned versions on wet and dry. Test included skidpad, dry pavement launching, wet pavement launching and a road course. In the end AWD only had better numbers on wet pavement drag launches over the other cars. I wish i had the article around somewhere.
