you can't understand where i'm coming from because you grew up in a completely different culture. in america it's all about money, while over there, it's all about enjoying yourself and not worrying about money. both are extremes, and neithier is perfect, but apparently the benefit outweighs the cost here. it does have a bearing on my life, since i like to enjoy myself while i'm young and have the chance. what good is money if it's sitting in my bank account and i'm sitting on my ass at home bored out of my fucking mind because i don't feel like hitting up another party for the 9th week in a row and am too young to go to a club or bar.

No. What I don't understand is you pick up your life and move it here. Your choice to come to another country that has it's laws already in place. Laws which you probably already knew mostly about. Then you get here and bitch about how it "pisses" you off. If it really pisses you off and it's that big of a deal, then go back so you won't spend so much time bored.

Honestly, that's how I am. I don't care about being rich. I want to be ok and have what I have and not struggle.

I find it kind of sad that drinking plays a role in your life. I've had a great, fulfilling life(so far) and I have never drank alcohol in any of that time.

So the only thing in the US to do to spend money to avoid being bored is party and drink? There are thousands upon thousands of stuff to do here that doesn't involve that. Again, if drinking and partying plays a big enough role in your life for you to get pissed at our laws, then go back. Pretty cut and dry.
