SO WHO ELSE IS HAVING SHIT LUCK LATELY?

Is it a kenwood amp? cause I had the same problem with mine. switched to a JL and didnt have the problem anymore.

Ya kenwood KAC-9102D. I think it is the location I have it though. The damn Z is small thing that it pretty much has to be in the trunk, and a custom box fitted with 2 10' Alpine Type R's. It sits on top of the box like half an inch from the inside of the trunk. Basically that is the only place I could put it, But Ive cut a little to get some better enting in there so if I ride with the windows down the cold air gets to the trunk to help cool it. Its loud as shit though at 1700 watts.

my 7202 did the same thing. Either get some fans or a new amp. Im very impressed my still works though, must have overheated 100 times or more. my JL hasnt quit on me once, except for that time i rattled a fuse loose. woops.
