    Maybe they're just last minute spray downs before putting an item up for sale.

    If I was selling some wheels, which I am right now, I'd clean the crap out of them and let them dry before taking pictures. That shows that you take care of them.

    I'm really referring to this one guy who had some wheels and tires for sale on here.

    They were muddy as hell and had brake dust all over them.

    But he took pictures of them sprayed with a hose. Still dirty

    I clean mine regularly, but when I sell them, I just make sure to give them a quick clean before I take pictures.
