I wish i still had my 1st gen integra! I would let you borrow it :tongue: Full roof rack for the kayaks and bikes, hatch for the climbing and camping gear...traded the aluminum wheels for steelies so i didn't have to worry about breaking them. Would drive ALLL day long and not see a paved road...never once had a flat and never once hit anything off-road. I did however plow it into a guardrail at 55 mph on a mtn run at 10pm with 285,000 miles on it :goodjob: Nothing like freshly painted stripes on a road (front left locked up breaking going into a turn). Bought another 1st gen for $800 with 80k miles, swapped front clips and was good to go with 200k less miles and saved about $5 a week on oil ;) Then drove it for anothe 6 months with the new engine (did i mention it was still the cleanest 1st gen around even though often seen with 2" of mud on the roof?) :D

As for my '01 Integra....you both daily drive and track an ITR engine with brand new LSD and 8.5lb flywheel using a clutch that will rip the dash off the firewall and tell me something won't break, haha (oh yeah, i took the clutch and pressure plate from a 500hp Civic, sure that didn't help :tongue: ) Been driving on an ACT street disc with the same Stage III pressure plate for the last 3 years with no problems ;)

i do have a teggy engine.. with a stage III as well... none of that matters...

i don't want to drive my car through a damn creek man.. it's too low...

i've commuted before too.. from br to atl every morning... it blows in an auto. and would suck worse in a stick.

quit bragging cause u drove an old beat up car on some dirt roads... seriously..

haha!...with the only exception my '89 Integra was cleaner than 95% of the EG's on the road today ;)

Isn't her car stock? You said something about that the other day, a stock honda will go just about anywhere you need to be while doing it more comfortably and smoothly than a jeep...just don't do a creek crossing if you have an intake lower than the stock location :tongue:
